The internal control unit for a mechanical gearbox with parallel shafts consists of a rotary control shaft (1) for selecting a row of gears, a sliding peg (1a), stops (4a, 4b) and an elastic return member. The return member comprises two springs (8, 17) coiled round the control shaft and acting on it in two opposite directions, while the stops are mounted on a cylindrical bush which rotates together with the control shaft and is returned to its dead centre position by the springs. |
