PURPOSE: A level checking device for construction is provided to achieve improved conveniences and shorten measurement time by easily and rapidly measuring slab level points, while reducing costs and improving accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A level checking device comprises a frame member(10) having a level reference plate(11) arranged at the lower portion of the frame member, a female screw arranged at the bottom of the level reference plate, and a groove formed at the upper inner side of the main body of the frame member; a support(20) coupled into the groove formed at the bottom of the level reference plate of the frame member, which has a screw portion(21) formed at the outer surface of the support such that the support is adjustable in accordance with the thickness of a slab; a position control member(30) arranged at the upper portion of the support and bottom surface of the level reference plate, which controls set position of the support; a fixing member(40) fitted to the upper portion of the frame member in such a manner that the fixing member is slidable, which has a first mounting portion(41) arranged at the front portion of the main body of the fixing member, and a second mounting portion(42) arranged at the rear portion of the main body of the fixing member; a position determination member(50) for controlling height of the fixing member which slides along the frame member; a slide gear box(60) fixed at the upper portion of the frame member, which has an elevation control member(61) formed at the inner surface of the slide gear box, and a height adjustment member formed at the outer surface of the elevation control member; and a guide frame(70) connected to the support, which guides the frame member and the slide gear box to move upward and downward directions during operation of the slide gear box.
