PLASTIC BOTTLE FOR FOOD EXCELLENT IN RIGIDITY AND TRANSPARENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle being lightened, in addition, keeping transparency required for bottles for food, excellent in rigidity, fall impact resistance and dimensional stability, having high speed formability and not damaging taste of contents after long preservation. SOLUTION: This plastic bottle for food has a high density polyethylene layer having >=0.950 g/cm<3> density and 7.5-14.5 molecular-weight distribution defined by Mw (weight average molecular weight)/Mn (number average molecular weight) and is formed to have <80% bottle haze converted to 0.5 mm thickness.
