PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house enabling its rooftop to be used effectively while keeping privacy by dividing the rooftop into living sections of dwelling units on the top floor, and using each section as a space dedicated to each resident. SOLUTION: In the multiple dwelling house of this embodiment, the rooftop is divided into dedicated spaces 11 to 13 for the dwelling units 1 to 3 on the top floor to allow the residents on the top floor to make effective use of the rooftop (dedicated spaces) like gardens. By making the rooftop waterproof and providing drainage, the residents are allowed to enjoy gardening, nurse pets, enjoy a barbecue, etc., in their dedicated space without caring for noises and the like. Fences surrounding the dedicated spaces 11 to 13 are made high enough to keep privacy, as when sunbathing or making children play in the water.
