PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower head lifting and lowering supporting device capable of easily changing a height position of a shower head by one hand to promote its handling efficiency and preventing the accident or the trouble caused by the careless falling of the shower head. SOLUTION: A lever member 3 is mounted to the side of a body 1 slidably mounted to a slide bar 10 in a movable manner, and a spring member energizing to the direction pushing out the front end side of the lever member 3 is provided to the inside of the body 1. By energizing force of the spring member, a contact section provided to the rear end side of the lever member 3 is pushed against the surface of the slide bar 10, and the body 1 holding the shower head 7 can not be moved along the slide bar 10.
