SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURITIES SERVICE USING PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A system and a method for a securities service using a portable communication terminal are provided to make the portable communication terminal displaying a barcode on an LCD currently be used like the securities by transmitting/receiving the securities as a computation data format. CONSTITUTION: A barcode information database(114) stores the securities issued to a service user. A barcode generation server(104) transmits the barcode securities to the portable communication terminal(100) by reading the barcode data from the barcode information database. A securities information database(118) stores the issuance information of the barcode securities. The portable communication terminal displays the barcode securities on a display window. A barcode recognition CAT(Credit Authorization Terminal)(108) reads the barcode securities displayed on the display window and transmits the read data. A barcode clearance and certification server(106) decides the barcode securities issuance according to a certification result and certifies the barcode securities by comparing the read data with the issuance data stored in the securities information database.
