PURPOSE: An artificial slate having an anchor is provided to minimize the time and cost required for installation works and to prevent the separation of artificial slates. CONSTITUTION: The artificial slate(1) is formed by mixing white cement, yellow sand, volcanic rock, etc. with water to get dough, then filling/hardening the dough in a mold and fixing an anchor(3) into the upper side of the artificial slate(1) to be molded downward and exposed outward before the artificial slate(1) is hardened. The artificial slate(1) is fixed to the surface of a wall(4) by driving a fixture such as a nail through a fixing hole(3') of the anchor(3).
