PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out photographing with sufficient reproducibility about both of an object and a background by applying a proper exposure to the object and the background without a plurality of photometric means. SOLUTION: This device carries out exposure control so as to properly set the exposure to the object by controlling the opening and closing of a shutter on the basis of the photometry result of the photometric means, and carries out flashing light control of a flashing light means by using the flashing light means when the photometry result is lower than a predetermined photometric value. The device has exposure time control means (#1002, #1003, #1004, #1006, #1007, #1008) which change the exposure time of the shutter so as to expose the object at a photometric value higher than the predetermined photometric value when the photometry result is equal to or less than the predetermined photometric value which requires the flashing light means. |
