PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having improved uneven wear property, in particular, a pneumatic tire having uneven wear resistance even when slight force is exerted on the tire in the cross direction during the straight run of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises a tire tread portion having a rib split in the cross direction of the tire with a plurality of main grooves extending to the peripheral direction of the tire, the rib being split into a wider main rib and a narrower auxiliary rib with sipes extending to the peripheral direction and formed of a wearing rubber more liable to wear than a rubber layer located in the neighborhood of 30-70% of the width of the auxiliary rib. |
