PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of a magnetic tube and smoothly forming a resin cover, by making thicker only the part to be strengthen out of the magnetic tube compared with the other portion. SOLUTION: The magnetic tube 2 is integrally formed of a metal pipe or the like, its valve seat member mounting portion 2A and an actuator mounting portion 2B are formed as a thin part A having the thickness a of, for example, 0.1-0.9 mm. The resin cover forming portion 2C of the magnetic tube 2 is formed as a thick part B thicker than by at least by 0.1 mm than the thin part A. Therefore, the deformation of the resin cover forming portion 2C caused by such as injection pressure of resin material is prevented when a resin cover 14 is formed. Further, the part where the valve seat member 5, a valve element 7, a solenoid coil 11 are arranged out of the magnetic tube 2 is formed as thin as possible to reduce the weight of the fuel injection valve.
