PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a tread securing sufficient strength of a repair part with a small quantity of adhesive and improving design thereof. SOLUTION: In a man conveyer connecting plural treads 1 provided with a tread body 2 and plural cleats 3 projecting from a surface of the tread body 2 with a designated interval and extending in a designated direction to construct a tread surface, and circulating the same in a designated direction, when the cleat 3 breaks, broken parts 4a, 4b are processed in a designated shape, and then type plates 11 are provided in cleat grooves 31, 32 positioned in both side of the broken cleat to interpose the processed broken part, adhesive 12 is made to flow in the broken part between the type plates 11 and an aluminum piece 10 formed in a designated shape is inserted into an adhesive on the broken part and is fixed by the adhesive.
