PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for separating blood serum or blood plasma not floating an oily component in blood serum or blood plasma after centrifugal separation regardless of a centrifugal separation method. SOLUTION: The composition for separating blood serum or blood plasma consists of 100 pts.wt. of an oligomer A of cyclopentadiene with a softening point of 95-140 deg.C, 5-850 pts.wt. of an oligomer B of cylopentadiene with a softening point of 70-90 deg.C, 50-650 pts.wt. of a plasticizer, 5-85 pts.wt. of fine powdery silica and 0.1-6 pts.wt. of an organic gelling agent.
