A heat-sensitive copy sheet comprises a heatsensitive coating containing (a) at least one of a diphenylcarbazide or a derivative thereof, diphenylcarbazone or derivatives thereof or diphenylthiocarbazide and derivatives thereof and (b) a metal salt of an organic acid as colour developing components. Components (a) and (b) may be present in the same layer or in two separate layers. The salts may be of strontium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, aluminium, mercury, cadmium, lead, tin, copper, iron, cobalt, nickel, manganese, molybdenum, bismuth or barium and of e. g. aliphatic carboxylic acids having 8-24 C-atoms such as caprylic and pelargonic acids and other acids which are listed. The melting point of the salt may be from 50-170‹C. Free organic acids may be added. A metal chelating agent of which many are listed may be added to inhibit "unusual colour-development". A binder may be present and a number are exemplified. A number of solvents are also given. The support sheet may be of paper, Cellophane (Registered Trade Mark), polyester film, polycarbonate film, polystyrol film, cellulose acetate film and polyvinyl chloride film. Pigments may be present of which many are listed. An organic material melting between 60‹ and 130‹C. may be present to increase the colour depth of the image. Many suitable compounds are listed.
