PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method in which an amplitude correction coefficient is selected to control the drive current of a light emitting body, and in which the maximum value of the amplitude of a sine-wave signal is made to continuously follow a desired value. SOLUTION: The correction method for the amplitude of the sine-wave signal is a method wherein any one K1 or K2 from among a plurality of amplitude correction coefficients is selected on the basis of the difference in a voltage between the sine-wave signal (1) and a reference signal (Vc), and the drive current of the light emitting body (1) is controlled by using the correction coefficient K1 or K2 .
