PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit an inspection for the internal circumference of an endless member having flexibility and a cylindrical part such as the exterior film of a cigarette product with easy operation. SOLUTION: A dial gauge 4 and a fixed frame 5 are fixed. A slider 7 is attached to the guide rail 6 in front of a column 2. A retaining block 8 and a moving frame 9 are attached to the slider 7. A projecting surface 5a is formed on the fixed frame 5 and a projecting surface 9a is formed on the moving frame 9. The spindle 42 of the dial gauge 4 is contacted to the top end of the pin 10 of the retaining block 8. The stopper 13 at the lower part of the retaining block 8 is rotated. A reference gauge is plugged between the projecting surface 5a of the fixed frame 5 and the projecting frame 9a of the moving frame 9 and the stopper 13 is removed, and then a reference value is set to the dial gauge 4. An exterior film is plugged between the projecting surface 5a of the fixed frame 5 and the projecting surface 9a of the moving frame 9 and the stopper 13 is removed, and then the outer circumference is measured.
