PURPOSE: A wideband transmission system is provided to offer a smooth call service although a plurality of users are congested in a uniform branch by processingα,β, andγsectors according to branches connected to a donor. CONSTITUTION: A donor(20) connects to a base station. A plurality of remotes(21a-21d,22a-22d,23a-23d) connects to each branch of the donor(20). IF(Intermediate Frequency) signals ofα,β, andγsectors are digitized into sampling frequencies which are less than a receiving signal frequency. The sampling frequencies are down-converted into baseband signals. The baseband signals are decimated within a range in which a band repeated by the sampling frequencies is not overlapped, and the decimated signals are transmitted through one optical path. |
