PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology making the distribution of airborne particles collected in a filter assembly uniform. SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device applied for an internal combustion engine comprising at least one combustion chamber and cleaning exhaust gas discharged from the combustion chamber is provided with conduits 16, 60 forming a passage in which the exhaust gas discharged from the combustion chamber passes, and a filter assembly 100 disposed in the passage in the conduits and collecting airborne particles included in the exhaust gas. The conduits include a discharging passage discharging the exhaust gas passing through the filter assembly to the outside, and are circulating passage connected to the discharging passage and recirculating a part of the exhaust gas passing through the filter assembly to the combustion chamber. The conduits have a passage structure including a function making a flow amount per unit area of the exhaust gas passing through the filter assembling body uniform.
