PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting implement represented by a DNA chip which improves reactivity between nucleic acid fragments (probe molecules) and a surface of a solid-phase carrier and is highly stable. SOLUTION: By bringing a group of the reactive nucleic acid fragments bonded with vinyl sulfonyl groups by covalent bonding into contact with the solid-phase carrier provided with a group of reactive groups, the solid-phase carrier in which the nucleic acid fragments are bonded and fixed to the surface via connecting groups with sulfonyl groups is manufactured in this method.
