PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a reception signal from being fluctuated caused by worsening of an S/N ratio in an ultrasonic flowmeter, and to suppress an unfavorable influence caused by passing of an interfering substance. SOLUTION: The reception signal from an ultrasonic transceiver 1A or 1B is compared wilt a fixed referential potential in a comparison part 22 and binalized to obtain a pulse train, and respective propagation measuring times are found by time measuring parts 24A, 24B, 24C based on a leading and a tailing of each pulse signal, so as to stabilize a measured value and to attain enhancement of disturbance resistance and the like.
