PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device for a shutter housing case capable of automatically opening the lid of a lintel panel by interlocking with the descent of a turning rail during shutter closing. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a turning rail 5 which is supported by a lintel case formed in a space above a ceiling at an opening in a building and rotates in a vertical plane of the opening by following up the rise and fall of the shutter curtain and the first lintel panel 7 and the second lintel panel 8 installed in an openable manner to the bottom portion of the lintel case. A release lever 10 installed to one end of the first lintel panel 7 operates when the turning rail 5 descends, and the linkage of the first latch lock 20 is released by pulling the first wire and the first lintel panel 7 descends in the lid opening direction. Then, by the descent of the first lintel panel 7, a relay lever rotating mechanism 26 installed at the second lintel panel 8 is operated, the second latch lock 40 is operated by pulling the second wire and the second lintel panel 8 is opened.
