PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a palette drop-preventing apparatus that is compact and lightweight, and is not deformed or damaged by such a load as placing a pallet. SOLUTION: The palette drop-preventing apparatus comprises first and second support members 36 and 38 that guide the movement of a movable member 30 that is loaded into or out of an opening in an enclosure in the enclosure, and support the movable member 30 when a load is applied to the end of the movable section 30 being exposed to the outside of the enclosure due to the drop of a palette or the like. Mounting holes 28 and 29 for passing a bolt used for fixing the apparatus 20 to a multistory parking machine are mounted to the first and second support members 36 and 38. Therefore, a load applied to the movable member 30 works on a bolt that passes through the first and second support members 36 and 38, and the mounting holes 28 and 29 and does not work on the enclosure directly, thus enabling thinning of the enclosure and reducing of the weight of the apparatus.
