In a method of forming a gel filled product, which can be used for example as an armrest in an office chair, an insert body of gel material is molded in a first mold. The insert body is removed from the first mold and placed in a second mold which is oversized relative to the insert body. This leaves a cover molding space exteriorly of the insert body within the second mold. Covering material such as urethane is then molded in the cover molding space of the second mold onto the insert body.
