PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for cooking which is used for heating hot foods such as buns containing minced meats with a microwave oven range or a steamer. SOLUTION: In the case for cooking which has an circular upward opened rim of a lower case body detachably fitted into a circular downward opened rim of an upper case body so as to be mutually slidable circumferentially, grip pieces are provided protruding outward from parts of the outer circumference of the lower case body while knob pieces protruding outward from parts of the outer circumference of the upper case body. Inner and outer vent holes are arranged mutually at the upward opened rim of the lower case body and at the downward opened rim of the upper case body 1. In the mutual relationship of the grip pieces and the knob pieces with the inner and outer vent holes, the lower and upper case bodies are made to slide over each other circumferentially so that the grip pieces and the knob pieces are made to overlap each other. Only under such a condition, the inner and outer vent holes overlap each other to communicate therebetween.
