PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a locator on a ceramic core for use in casting of a molten metal and a device therefor. SOLUTION: The method and the device for providing a plurality of locator elements in the ceramic core comprises to dispose the ceramic core in a die hole of a die, to position a plurality of pins on the die hole accompanied by each pin having a locator forming hole at the inside end facing the core surface, and to introduce molten wax to each locator forming hole in order to form a plurality of the locator elements on the core surface. |
