PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low energy and high efficiency gas ionizing separation apparatus causing no decomposition of a gas and capable of accelerating the ionization of a specified gas component. SOLUTION: The gas ionizing separation apparatus has an ion generating part 12 for generating primary ion by giving energy more than the dissociation energy of the molecule of the gas component to a gaseous mixture stream containing the specified gas component, a charge transfer part 14 for ionizing the specified gas component by transferring the charge of the primary ions to the specified gas component through the transfer of the charge of the ion caused by the collision of the ion with the molecule and a separation part 15 for separating the gaseous mixture into a diluted gas of the specified gas component and a concentrated gas of the specified gas component by transferring the molecule of the ionized specified gas component with the utilization of electrostatic force by electric field.
