WATER BASE COAT FOR INFRARED RAY DRYING, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a water base coat whose drying time is short when drying the water base by an infrared drying machine, and to provide a constitutional matter for the water base coat. SOLUTION: Infrared ray absobtion spectrums of individual substances constituting the constitutional matter for the water base coat are measured to obtain absobtion efficiency between emissivities of infrared ray emitted from the infrared ray drying machine, and on the basis thereof the matter to be blended as the matter for the water base coat is determined to manufacture the water base. And the water base coat, characterized in that the compounding rate of an alumina-based refractory material is 40 wt.% or more, and the absorbtion efficiency of the infrared ray is 0.35 or more in a fire-resisting aggregate of the water base coat, is provided.
