PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush for improving a plaque removing effect and a brushing cleaning effect by implanting bristles in high implanted bristle density without causing a crack and whitening in an implanted bristle base. SOLUTION: In this toothbrush 10, a plurality of bristle bundles 12a and 12b composed of a plurality of bristles 11a and 11b are implanted in the implanted bristle base 13. The bristle bundles 12a and 12b are arranged in a plurality of rows in the lengthwise direction X of the toothbrush 10. The bristle bundle 12a implanted with the bristles by flat line bristle implantation and the bristle bundle 12b implanted with the bristles by adhesive bristle implantation are alternately arranged as the bristle bundles 12a and 12b in the respective rows. The bristle bundle 12a implanted with the bristles by the flat line bristle implantation is spherical or taper in a tip part shape.
