PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft rolling equipment capable of obtaining a smooth worked face not by the cutting work generating a cutting chip, and capable of obtaining strong material structure, in working the end face of a shaft into a curved face. SOLUTION: By adjusting a fixing tool 12 and a moving tool 14 so that the relative distance between them can be narrowed toward the rolling direction, and by effecting the rolling by applying a friction force and a compression force from both sides while clamping a work 60 with the fixing tool 12 and the moving tool 14, the friction force and the compression force are made greater as the working proceeds from the time point of the working start so as to apply a not forcible deformation to the work 60. And by supporting the work 60 from the back side which is performed by a work holding tool 26 during the rolling, the tilting and falling are prevented even if the difference in the balance of a power that the work 60 receives during the working exists, so that the yield of the working is enhanced. Furthermore, at the time of the completion of the working, by making the work holding tool 26 push out the work 60 forward to operate as a work discharge mechanism, the work 60 can be positively discharged.
