PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument capable of measuring the gripping force of toes. SOLUTION: The instrument has a means for measuring the force of pulling a gripping member toward the rear of a foot when the gripping member which can be gripped with at least one toe is gripped by a toe by regulating the forward movement of the foot with a foot movement regulating means which is in contact with at least part of an instep to a shin. The instrument is further provided with a means for fixing the part measured with the measuring means to the foot movement regulating means so as to keep a prescribed distance to the foot movement regulating means.
