PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait box capable of being stably bridged and arranged between facing wall faces in a cooler for fishing even if the difference of the size of the distance between the wall faces is present, and further to provide the cooler for the fishing having the bait box. SOLUTION: This bait box 201 for the fishing is the one to be arranged by being supported like a bridge by shelf parts 9 formed on the facing wall faces 5 in the cooler for the fishing, and having protruded parts to be supported, protruded in the outer direction from both end sides so as to be supported by the shelf parts 9 like the bridge. The right-side protruded part to be supported is composed of a plate member 206, and arranged in a slit 207 obtained by penetrating the side wall 205 at the right side of the bait box 201 for the fishing so as to be slidable in the inside and outside direction of the bait box 201. The right-side protruded part is elastically protruded from the right end side of the bait box 201 in the other direction.
