PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NOx absorption and reduction-type catalyst having improved resistance to sulfur toxicity, heat resistance and durability to aging. SOLUTION: The NOx absorption and reduction-type catalyst is obtained by mixing a titanium-zirconium complex oxide and an active metal, firing the resulting mixture to obtain a sintered material, then mixing the sintered material, a NOx-absorbing material and aluminum oxide and supporting the resulting mixture onto a carrier. |
