<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball featured by a long carry, a good feeling of striking, high repulsiveness, high scratch resistance and high color fastness by achieving a higher striking angle and a lower rate of spin. SOLUTION: In a solid golf ball made up of a core and a cover formed over the core. The cover contains (a) a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer whose component is alicyclic diisocyanate or (b) a mixture of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer and a thermoplastic plyamide elastomer whose component is alicyclic diisocyanate as a base material resin, has a thickness of 1.0 mm or lower, a surface hardness greater by 20 or more than a central hardness in terms of the Shore D hardness of the core.</p> |
