<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce troubles by shortening the time required for recovering yarn breakage. SOLUTION: This control method for a sewing machine controls the sewing machine in which the end part of a table for placing a sewing frame is provide with a recessed part allowing a worker to enter. The control method comprises steps (step S101, S103) of retreating the sewing frame from the upper side of the recessed part when the sewing frame is positioned on the upper side of the recessed part at the time of detecting yarn breakage to stop the drive of the sewing frame. The sewing machine has a plurality of sewing machine heads, and comprises a step (step S102) of cutting a yarn by the sewing machine head having not yarn breakage before the retreating step, and a step (step S106) of returning the sewing frame to the position before retreating in restarting embroidery processing from the state of stopping the embroidery process through the retreating step.</p> |
