PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction machine for a dresser capable of preventing the environmental deterioration caused by a cut powder and also enabling the reutilization of the cut powder. SOLUTION: The suction machine B for the dresser is equipped with a cover 15, a storage container 37 for storing the cut powder C, hoses 30a and 30b connecting the cover 15 to the storage container 37 and an ejector 33. The cover 15 has an insertion hole 17 communicating with the insertion hole 11 of the holding frame 8 arranged to the cutter arranging region 6 of the dresser 5 to enable the arrangement of an electrode chip to a chip cutter and is attached so as to cover the periphery of the cutter arranging region 6. The ejector 33 sucks the air A in the cover 15 to feed the cut powder C into the storage container 37 along with the air A by utilizing the hoses 30a and 30b.
