DEHUMIDIFYING MATERIAL FOR GAS WITHIN PAIRED GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide s dehumidifying material for the gas in paired glass which is capable of simultaneously satisfying the contradicting elements of an excellent dehumidification effect and volume saving. SOLUTION: This dehumidifying material for the gas in the paired glass is arranged in the internal space of a window sash formed by using the paired glass and maintains the internal gas sealed between two sheets of the glass at a dry state. The dehumidifying material for the gas in the paired glass is constituted by coating the particles of an adsorptive material with a high polymeric porous membrane. Not the adsorptive material is packed into a cylindrical nonwoven fabric, but the particles of the adsorptive material themselves are coated with the high polymeric porous membrane, by which the dehumidification of the interior of the paired glass is made possible while the production of the dust from the adsorptive material is prevented.
