PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend-forming method capable of slackening stress concen trated on a bend-formed portion with a simple technique. SOLUTION: The bend-forming method is characterized in that, with a simple technique to bend-form a blank member 1 by superposing a frictional member 3 on bent parts 2a, 2d of the blank member 1, the bending deformation of the frictional member 3 is transmitted to the bent parts 2a, 2d which have been bend-formed so that the difference between inside stress and outside stress in the bending direction that act on the bent parts 2a, 2d is reduced to slacken the stress concentrated on the bent parts 2a, 2d.
