PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting structure for a handle on an implement body of an agricultural implement such as a mattock, a spade or a rake capable of simply carrying out mounting and readily correcting the agricultural implement without causing rattling. SOLUTION: This mounting structure for the handle is obtained by arranging a holding cylinder 3 at the base end of a supporting rod 2 fixing the implement body 1 such as a mattock plate at the tip. A wedgy piece 4 thinning toward an opened end is provided in the interior depth of the holding cylinder 3. In this state, the handle 5 provided with a notch 6 formed at the tip is inserted from the opened end of the holding cylinder 3. When the handle 5 is strongly pushed forward, the wedgy piece 4 is admitted into the notch 6 of the handle 5 to extend the tip of the handle 5. Thereby, the outer surface of the extended handle 5 is brought into close contact with the inner surface of the holding cylinder 3 and the handle 5 and the holding cylinder 3, in other word, the implement body 1 is surely fixed.
