PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric washing machine provided with a washing tub having low friction, improved in the washing effect and having excellent abrasion-durability. SOLUTION: This electric washing machine is provided with a water tub 4, the washing tub 13 provided inside of the water tub 4 freely to be rotated, a driving motor 19 for rotating the washing tub 13 in the water tub 4, a circulation pipe 6 for circulation the water inside of the water tub 4 taken out of a lower part of the water tub 4 into the washing tub 13 again, and a projection 22 formed in the inner surface of the washing tub 13. The inner surface of the washing tub 13 is formed with a surface treatment film including a low- friction organic resin and a inorganic material 133.
