PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA functioning as a promoter specifically induced at the time or the like when being infected by Pyricularia oryzae. SOLUTION: This DNA is represented by the following (a) or (b), and functions as the promoter: (a) the DNA including a base sequence represented by a specific sequence; and (b) the DNA including the base sequence having deletion, substitution or insertion of at least one base in the base sequence represented by the specific sequence, and capable of exhibiting a promoter activities by the infection by the Pyricularia oryzae of rice or an inducing material derived from the Pyricularia oryzae. |
