PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled cleaner which has high usability and makes safety provisions substantial. SOLUTION: A dust collection part is composed of a dust box 26 capable of being freely taken out, so as to allow the dust box 26 to be taken out of a part, except a front surface, of the cleaner body 1, and safety can be enhanced because the cleaner body 1 is prevented from hitting a person taking out the dust box 26, in case the cleaner body 1 starts to travel, when the person takes out the dust box 26.
