PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate detachment of a headrest having a loosening preventing mechanism locking it so it cannot be loosened from a seat back during usage of a seat and allowing detachment from the seat back during nonuse of the seat. SOLUTION: An adjusting tool 24 composing a height control mechanism of the headrest H and a lock tool 25 composing the loosening preventing mechanism of a stay 1 are provided on one of holders 2 for attaching the stay 1 of the headrest H to a seat back side. A tool hole 20B for inserting a tool T for pushing the lock tool 25 in an unlocking direction is provided in the holder 2.
