PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting cover of such a size as to be pocketable with suppressed price, highly safe in its movement with a lure kept setting on a rod, less prone to entangle several rods with each other even if they are bundled, and detachable instantaneously as well. SOLUTION: This lightweight protecting cover of simple shape comprises a combination of a Hook-and-Loop fastener tape with a plastic film material, having the following merits: a lure can be set together with its hook on the tip of a rod in a softly included fashion, thus protecting the hook of the lure, enabling the cover to be detached instantaneously, and several rods are hard to be entangled with each other even if they are bundled, etc., thereby significantly improving safety, convenience and portability; furthermore, the size of this protecting cover is so as not to make a hindrance to its carriage, and its price can be suppressed to <=1/5 compared with those of the conventional products.
