PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing mold for a PDP and method for manufacturing PDP substrate is provided to achieve improved precision and uniformity of a PDP substrate, while allowing mass production and improving yield rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing mold for a PDP, comprises a first step of preparing a support plate and coating the support plate with a photosensitive film at one surface of the support plate; a second step of selectively exposing the photosensitive film; a third step of producing a plating frame by removing the exposed photosensitive film or the unexposed photosensitive film; a fourth step of depositing a seed layer all over the plating frame; a fifth step of overflow plating a metallic material to the plating frame, so as to form a predetermined height from the top of the plating frame; and a sixth step of finishing a mold(16) by eliminating the plating frame from the metallic material.
