PURPOSE: A device for regulating slope of a bed based on brain waves and a method for regulating the device are provided, thereby the slope of the bed can be automatically regulated in order for an alpha wave to be generated up to the maximum level, so that a user can rapidly and safely sleep. CONSTITUTION: The device for regulating the slope of the bed according to brain waves comprises an ankle fixing apparatus(14); a rotation point(18) positioned in the lower part of the bed(12); a brain wave detecting means(50) which is installed in the upper part of the bed(12) and covers a head; a brain wave separating means which separates alpha wave and beta wave from the signal of the brain wave detecting means(50) based on the predetermined wave regions; a slope regulating means which regulates the slope of the bed(12) based on the alpha and beta waves.
