PURPOSE: An automatic locking system is provided to automatically unlock a locking status, when a sensed card key is registered, by sensing a card key in the form of card possessed with a user at a distance within 1m by a card key reader. CONSTITUTION: An automatic locking system includes a card key reader(6) for generating a sensing signal by detecting in a wireless manner when a card key possessed with a user is approached to a predetermined distance, an input part(10) formed in a shape of a key pad for creating a key input signal in response to a user's input, a controller(1) for determining whether a card key registered at a memory(3) and a registered pass word are matched with the sensing signal of the card key created at the card key reader(6) by receiving the key input signal from the input part(10) and for providing an unlock signal to the motor driver(11) when the determined result is matched and a motor(12) for unlocking a locking status by backlashing when the unlock signal is received from the motor driver(11).
