PURPOSE:To obtain a reversible thermal recording material having a good repetition durability and a superior image erasablity even if an image is repeatedly formed and erased using a heating means, such as a thermal head, simultaneously applying heat and pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a reversible thermal recording material provided with a heat-sensitive layer mainly composed of a resin matrix and an organic low- molecular substance dispersed in the resin matrix and reversibly changed in transparency dependently on a temperature on a substrate, at least one or more kinds of polyhydric alcohol difatty arid ester (preferably having a melting point of 35 deg.C or higher) are used as the organic low-molecular substance. |
