PURPOSE: A method for producing an exterior plate for furniture is provided, thereby producing value added furniture and applying various patterns to the furniture. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing an exterior plate for furniture comprises the steps of: making grooves having a desired shape on the base member(2) of the exterior plate using a shaping machine; inserting the liquid typed synthetic resin into the grooves on the base member(2) and solidifying the synthetic resin; and grinding the surface of the exterior plate having the grooves containing the synthetic resin(7) and covering the ground surface of the exterior plate with a brightener, wherein the base member(2) is wood(6); and the synthetic resin is transparent polyurethane and acryl.
