PURPOSE: A scroll device in a mobile communication terminal having a dual LCD is provided to improve a user retrieval interface by scrolling the contents of a short message displayed on an auxiliary LCD up and down according to a rotation direction of a roller. CONSTITUTION: A roller(100) is protrusively formed at a front surface of a terminal folder to be rotated and moved up and down. A rotary encoder(120) senses the rotation of the roller(100), and generates an upward scroll signal and a downward scroll signal according to the rotation direction. A push button(110) senses the upper and lower movement of the roller(100), and generates an activating signal of a short message icon displayed on an auxiliary LCD(400) and a message storing signal. A control unit(200) activates the short message icon by the activating signal, scrolls the activated short message contents up and down on the auxiliary LCD(400) according to the upward and downward scroll signals, and stores the short message in a memory unit(300) by the storing signal.
