PURPOSE: A portable communication device is provided to set a battery pack for power supply between an upper housing and a lower housing, and to mount a PBA(Printed Circuit Board Assembly) where electromagnetic waves are generated in the lower housing, thereby minimizing the electromagnetic waves transmitted outside from a body housing. CONSTITUTION: A slim-type upper housing(300a) includes a soft circuit mounted with a keypad(303). A lower housing(300c) is separated from the slim-type upper housing(300a) in a vertical direction, and includes a PBA(PBA2). A middle housing(300b) is set between the slim-type upper housing(300a) and the lower housing(300c), and is perfectly separated from the lower housing(300c) by a separation wall, in order to minimize electromagnetic waves generated from the PBA(PBA2), then includes a slot(S) for receiving an object through an opening of a front end in a length direction. A sliding battery pack(40) is removable from the middle housing(300b).
