HEAT-SHUTTING CONNECTOR OF COAXIAL CABLE

PURPOSE: A heat-shutting connector of a coaxial cable is provided to connect coaxial cables used in a superconductor system in an extremely low-temperature environment through the heat-shutting connector so as to reduce thermal loss. CONSTITUTION: A heat-shutting connector of a coaxial cable(10) has an opening into which the coaxial cable is inserted to be combined with the connector. The opening is formed at each of both ends of the connector. A cylindrical housing is placed inside the connector. The cylindrical housing surrounds the external conductors of the coaxial cables to be electrically connected to the external conductors. A thin-film conductor is coated on the outer face of the housing. A dielectric is formed inside the housing, and a thin-film conductor piece is placed at the center of the dielectric. The thin-film conductor piece is connected to inner conductors of the coaxial cables.
